... But it was spent in the presence of the guys from the Wisconsin state Squadron of the Navy Club, so the day was thoroughly enjoyed. Today was spent in Racine, so it was nearly 4 hours on the road one way with my F-I-L (retired after 24 years), and two retired Submariners. Some of the tales told were really good, but probably aren't suitable to post... (He, he,he....). I really enjoy spending time around these guys, and that time spend only reinforces the idea of why I joined the Navy Club as an associate member. I'm actually sort of suprised, though, in that none of them tried to "persuade me" into joining the Navy. Just not going to happen.....
