I have Heard about 1978-87 Monte Carlos with 4-Speed's that where made for Mexico ? Most where SS Montes .

The Mexican Monte SS was made in 83-84, They had the 4 speeds, a Grand prix interior, The Checker board 14" rims and no rear spoiler. Very odd looking car. But there were a few 78-80 Montes and Malibus made with 3 and 4 speeds, Most had V6.

Yep ... I had a friend in college who had a '78 white/blue interior manual MC. V6.
